Unkown to the protective stance that agni has stood around samu, he commanded his guards to take samu's drunk and wasted father to his basement where he knew he was going to play and punish.
As his voice boomed through the closed space slowly samu's trembling form came into his view, ''kya hua tumhe, tum thik toh ho?'' came his question, to which samu just nodded.
Protectiveness washed him over as he immediately circled her waist and led her out to which samu first flinched but surprisingly leaned into him for some warmth.
As the days passed samu got comfortable in the house, assisting the maids, doing chore being completely unknown to the fact that her father was being brutally killed by her now growing interest. As much she hated having expectations from people and her life, she began to dwell into agni's subtle nods of acknowledgement, little glimpses when she was working in the kitchen.
Whereas on the other side our brooding king of cold and ruthlessness has came to the conclusoin that there was something wrong in the way he used to behave around his '' choti jaan'' aka our samu. The pull made him go to his house every night eventho he was far away and it would take hours of travel.
